Jem et les Hologrammes (Jem ou Jem and the Holograms) est une série d’animation américano-japonaise en 65 épisodes de 20 minutes, créée par Hasbro.En France, la série a été diffusée à partir du 10 septembre 1986 sur TF1 dans l’émission Vitamine et rediffusée entre 1987 et 1990 dans l’émission Club Dorothée puis sur Mangas. J’avais 8 ans et j’étais fan. Aujourd’hui je lui trouve toujours un bon look glam’ punk !

« Héritière de la maison de disques « Star Light Musique », Jerrika s’occupe également d’une pension pour orphelines. Mais elle doit faire face à Eric Raymond, un autre producteur qui va tout faire pour s’approprier SLM. Or Jerrika possède une identitée secrète : Jem. Son défunt père avait en effet construit Synergie, un super ordinateur que Jerrika contrôle grace à ses boucles d’oreille, et qui peut créer des hologrammes à volonté. Ainsi Jerrika se transforme en Jem, chanteuse du groupe de rock « Jem et les Hologrammes ». Le groupe de jeunes femmes, Jem, Kimber (Claviers), Aja (Guitare) et Shana (Batterie, remplacée plus tard par Raya), va alors se retrouver sans cesse en concurence avec les Misfits, le trio féminin d’Eric Raymond »
